Since forecasting is my hobby, I rely on forecasts from the National Weather Service to update my page on a daily basis. I supplement those forecasts with my own when there is the possibility of a major event. In those cases, I post my own forecast on this blog. The key difference between my forecast style and most other places is that I only update my forecast if my thinking has changed. If you see a forecast on this site that is a few days old, it does not mean I haven't updated my forecast, it simply means that my thinking hasn't changed and the last forecast I made is still valid.
